On 20th March 2010, during its regular Installation meeting, Ballards Lodge No. 5091 twinned with Loža Vuk Karadžić No. 5 of the Regular Grand Lodge of Serbia.
Province of Surrey was represented by the RW Provincial Grand Master, three Assistant Provincial Grand Masters, Provincial Grand Secretary and a great number of other honoured guests. Worshipful Master also had his own 50 (yes, 50!) personal guests, to make a total of over 130 Brethren at the meeting and Festive Board. The Grand Master of RGLS and Worshipful Master of Lodge Vuk Karadžić both expressed their wish to see many Brethren visit Serbia. They intimated that Freemasonry in Serbia is recently resurrected, after 50 years of slumber induced by World War II and ensuing political situation in the country, but that it is developing quickly and successfully. |

Delegation from Serbia was headed by the Most Worshipful the Grand Master and comprised 20 members, twelve of whom were from the twinned Lodge, including its Worshipful Master. Lodge (Loža) Vuk Karadžić No. 5 was founded in 1995. It has since initiated, passed and raised nearly 140 Brethren, brought the Masonic Light into seven other Lodges and produced two Grand Masters.
