During the Annual Conference of the Grand Orient of Italy, a number of thematic sessions, round tables,  formal and informal meetings were held.

Considering a great number of representatives from Lodges that have Garibaldi's name, on the initiative of Bro. Paolo Mundula - WM of "Giusseppe Garibaldi" Lodge No.1188 from Rome, and Bro.V.B.Z. of "Svetlost Balkana - Garibaldi" Lodge No.3, a short informal meeting of Brethren was held.

The intention of this meeting was to agree on the further activities and various models of collaboration between Garibaldi Lodges. A conclusion was made to continue with already established practice of meeting on a yearly basis. It was noted that it was already made in Italy (Trieste 2002) and in Serbia (Belgrade 2004, 2005 with participation of Italian Brethren). MW GM of RGLS Bro P.K. and MW GM of GOI Bro. Gustavo Rafi were detail briefed about this meeting.
