After the Emergency Annual Assembly of RGLS in January 2008, all Lodges continued with their regular activities. We have to note that our Charities have been especially active during this period. Large amounts of financial contributions, as well as clothes, food and various other necessities have been collected for families without income and homeless shelters. All income collected at humanitarian concerts, art exhibitions and auctions, organized for charity purposes, has been donated to selected groups of the most destitute citizens of Serbia. The charity collections for the project to help the home for handicapped people near Belgrade has resulted in building of the first in line of three bedroom houses planed to be built on site which will carry the name of our Foundation. |
